Thousands of pubs are handing out free pints through promotions or for customers who sign up to their loyalty schemes. Nicholson pubs Nicholson’s has over 78 pubs across the UK and is owned by Mitchell’s & Butlers. It gives punters a free drink of their choice when they register for its free rewards scheme. The app lets customers order drinks to the table and also earn rewards. If you have managed eight visits within a year you will have unlocked a complimentary drink at visit four. Customers also get £5 off £15 spent at visit six and also a mighty final reward of 20% to use on every purchase that is valid for three months. The Irish pub group’s loyalty programme, O’Neill’s+, also gives members the chance to collect stamps that can be exchanged for exclusive rewards. Brewdog Brewdog gives you a free pint every month just for signing up to its loyalty scheme. Just scan your wallet in the Brewdog Treats app at the checkout at any of its 11 locations and you’ll get a free drink. And if you’re planning on staying in and ordering a takeaway, you could get TWO free beers from Brewdog with your order. The beer giant is handing out free cans to hungry Brits when they order food on Deliveroo. Customers will receive a cold sample of its famous Punk IPA with their takeaway, along with a separate voucher for a free pint to redeem at a BrewDog bar. You’ll have to opt in to receive the offer, so it’s worth keeping your eyes peeled if you are keen to try. And it only applies to customers in London. There are over 70 Slug and Lettuce venues around the country, and over 30 Be At One bars. Greene King One of the UK’s biggest pub chains has a loyalty rewards scheme where you can get freebies including pints and food. If you spin the virtual wheel on the new Greene King app, you’ll win either a free main meal, drink or dessert. The free drinks include Peroni, Birra Moretti, Rekorderlig, Aspell, Hazy Day, Coca Cola, Schweppes Lemonade and Madri.
