Chaos reigns supreme in Walford (Picture: BBC) EastEnders is serving up the arrival of a new family, a lover wracked with suspicions and a heart torn between two suitors next week. Nicola Mitchell’s (Laura Doddington) life is turned completely on it’s head next week when her entire, estranged family rock up in Walford, it becomes a Herculean task for the other Hawkins’ to reunite Nicola with her mum, Rose (Marian McLoughlin), but with so much pain and resentment littering their past, are they on to a loser? Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) is desperate to tell the kids about his reunion with their mum, Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy), but as she continues to struggle with the revelation of her pregnancy, Ravi turns his eye to Max Branning (Jake Wood) when he sees them share a moment. Is he about to discover the truth about their affair? Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) finds herself torn between her new fancy man Clive Masters (Jason Durr) and Max when she discovers his recent good deeds. As her head and her heart go to battle, which will come out on top, and who will she choose? Elsewhere, Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) tries to ensure the spotlight remains on her, and Oscar Branning (Pierre Counihan-Moullier) unveils his plan for Max’s stag night. Let’s get to it, shall we? Monday, August 31 Nicola is completely unprepared for what’s coming (Picture: BBC/Jack Barnes/Kieron McCarron) Nicola is stunned by the arrival of her sisters, Gemma and Jodie Hawkins (Patricia Potter and Anna Constable) alongside Gemma’s son, Ryder (Felix Uff). They manage to convince her to let them stay but Nicola has one condition – her mum, Rose isn’t invited, though Gemma’s husband Ned (Jamie Bamber) turns up next with Rose in tow. With Nicola unwilling to budge, Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) offers Ryder and Jodie a place to crash, while urging his mum to sort things out with Rose, while Ned tries to make amends with Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) after their dramatic arrival, before realising that she’s married to his old friend, Alfie (Shane Richie). Tuesday, September 1 Kat wants Gemma and Ned out (Picture: BBC/Jack Barnes/Kieron McCarron) While Kat wants Gemma and Ned out, Linda and Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) are suffering with Rose at Peacock Palace and when Gemma tries to soften things with Nicola, the appearance of Rose does nothing but ignite further trouble. The Hawkins plan to reunite Rose and Nicola goes terribly wrong and rather than fixing anything, the remnants of their relationship are further tarnished. Elsewhere, Priya rages at Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) when she finds him dealing weed, with support from Max, and Ravi is elated when she decides to tell the kids about the baby, but continues to question her over the man she was seeing, his suspicions raising when he sees a moment between her and Max. Wednesday, September 2 Clive comes to Linda’s rescue (Picture: BBC/Jack Barnes/Kieron McCarron) A power cut threatens to derail Linda and Elaine’s bingo night, forcing Clive to come to the rescue and save the day before asking a flustered Linda on a second date, to which she agrees. Without a home, Gemma and Ned are heartened when Nicola says they can stay with her temporarily, but she’s floored when she learns the real reason they’ve come to seek her out. Also, Ravi watches Max closely, Kim pushes Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson) to be more social while tasking Denzel (Jaden Ladega) with planning his stag do, Max and Linda have a moment when he encourages an anxious Ollie (Harry Farr) before his first day at high school, and Oscar unveils his plan for his dad’s stag night. Thursday, September 3 Linda’s left with a big decision to make (Picture: BBC/Jack Barnes/Kieron McCarron) Linda’s convinced she’s ready to move on from Max with Clive, but when she learns that Max was integral to saving the community centre, she’s torn all over again, and as Clive confirms that the centre’s future is secure, she’s left with a big decision to make. Elsewhere, the stags eagerly anticipate Max’s arrival in Harry’s Barn.
