It’s a dark week on the cobbles… (Picture: ITV) A prison bully, a cruel sabotage, a family at war and a struggle with the reality of cancer are all on deck for next week’s Coronation Street. Idris Nazir’s (Junade Khan) sights are set firmly on ruining Carla Connor-Swain’s (Alison King) business, and as he strikes a major blow using his minion, Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey), will he succeed where so many have failed and take Underworld from it’s reigning Queen? As Gary Windass (Mikey North) adjusts to life in prison, he finds himself caught between young, vulnerable Marco Rhodes (William Teasdale) and vicious bully, Ross Wilkes’ (Ian Burfield), but will he listen to Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) pleas to stay out of it? Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) continues to find it difficult to adjust to life with cancer, and despite his mum, Bernie Winter-Alahan’s (Jane Hazlegrove) best attempts to look after him, a stern order from colleague Lisa Connor-Swain (Vicky Myers) leaves him furious – but who’ll be on the receiving end of his wrath? Elsewhere in Weatherfield, Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) finds himself in a violent clash with brother Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard), Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) assembles her squad and Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins) has a plan. You ready to dive in? Monday, November 2 Maria tells Gary to stay out of Marco’s drama (Picture: Danielle Baguley/ITV) Maria pleads with Gary not to get involved when he worries to her that Marco is being bullied, and Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) later thanks Ross when he says he’ll keep an eye on him for her, later organising him a cleaning job to keep him busy. Overhearing Carla discuss an important business meeting later with Lisa, Idris follows and takes her potential client aside for a word. Meanwhile, Daniel tells Ken, Adam and Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) that his article is due to be published in the Gazette as the latter two mask their guilt and Christina shows George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) a message she’s written to Richie (Nathan Sussex), hoping he’ll allow her to visit. Daniel confronts Adam after learning of his and Idris’ involvement in the sale of the school land and despite his protestations, the two end up brawling in the street, before Adam has to race to court to fight for Marco’s appeal. As Carla’s business starts to crumble, she’s forced to tell the staff that she’s struggling to keep the factory running, while Idris tells Brody he has a job for him, leading to him steal Sally Metcalfe’s (Sally Dynevor) keys and break in to Underworld as Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) watches on. Elsewhere, Marco advises Gary to ignore Ross, Ross advises Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) to apologise to Chesney Winter-Brown (Sam Aston) to shut Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) up and Kit struggles as Bernie becomes fiercely over-protective. Wednesday, November 4 Carla’s forced to share some awful news (Picture: Danielle Baguley/ITV) As Carla tells the factory staff that they must close and she can only afford to pay them a months wages, Leanne confronts Idris and Brody over what happened, and later Brody is sickened at Idris and Leanne’s callous attitude toward the plight of the staff. Ross visits Marco and tears a card he received from Summer to pieces, leading Gary to stand up to him before receiving a firm warning to learn his place and accept that Ross is in charge. Also, Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin), takes Kit for a curry when he feels smothered by Lisa, Bernie and Gemma Winter-Brown (Dolly-Rose Campbell, and Debbie asks if she can accompany Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) to the dementia support group. Thursday, November 5 Kit rages when Lisa tells him to go on sick leave (Picture: Danielle Baguley/ITV) Kit loses his rag with a coughing woman at work, leading Kirk Sutherland (Andrew Whyment) to step in, comfort her and tell Bernie, Dev and Brody what happened and later, when Lisa tells Kit to go on sick leave, he explodes at Bernie, accusing her of interfering. Debbie enlists her angels, Sally, Christina and Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger) round for a project she’s working on, with Glenda forcing Sally and Christina to fix their issues, before Debbie tells Ronnie that they need to organise her long term care while she’s still able to make decisions. Concurrently, Idris schemes with Leanne about the future of the factory, Carla is heartened when Sean Tully (Antony Cotton), Izzy Armstrong (Cherylee Houston) and Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) pledge to help her and the factory and Gemma receives her test results.
