All 'A Pilgrimage for Power' sacred stone locations in The Blood of Dawnwalker

"A Pilgrimage for Power" in The Blood of Dawnwalker sets a seemingly impossible task. To complete this lengthy quest, you must find every sacred stone location on the map, but you won't receive much guidance. Luckily, there are two ways to unveil the sacred stones and their Uriashi glyphs — find an NPC willing to give you the info (which may take a while), or take a look at our sacred stone location maps below. Here's where to find the sacred stones in The Blood of Dawnwalker and complete "A Pilgrimage for Power." Feel free to follow along or bookmark this page and come back if you get stuck.] 'A Pilgrimage for Power' quest walkthrough in The Blood of Dawnwalker You can unlock The Blood of Dawnwalker's "A Pilgrimage for Power" quest by completing "A Mother's Plea," or by stumbling upon a sacred stone in the wild. You're most likely to come across this quest by approaching the quest marker just south of Laslea Glen, shortly after completing the prologue. Using focus mode, you'll see a bunch of wind chimes leading up a mountain. If you'd like to "earn" the sacred stone locations by completing a related quest line, here's what you must do: Investigate the alley in northeast Svartrau, just north of the cathedral, to pick up "A Friend Like This." Complete the quest. Complete "Song of the Mountain." Accept "A Mother's Plea" by offering your help to the Elder in Uriash Village. Complete its sub-quest, "The Heart Wants What it Wants." Return to Uriash Village to complete "A Mother's Plea." The Elder shall reveal the sacred stone locations on your map. Of course, if you want the Uriash to help you find the sacred stones, you must remain civil. Be polite, try to help the Elder as best you can, and don't drain anyone's blood. How to use sacred stones in The Blood of Dawnwalker As soon as you've reached one of the locations marked on your map (or, if you haven't done "A Mother's Plea," as marked on our sacred stone maps below), follow the wind chimes using focus mode. Once you've arrived at the start of a wind chime trail, the name of the corresponding sub-quest ("Bear Trouble," "Dark-Thing," etc.) will pop up in your quest journal. At the end of the wind chime path, you'll find the sacred stone. It always takes two turns to complete a sacred stone quest. There are four sacred stones in total. You must always complete a small trial (defeat an enemy or investigate an area) to read the Uriashi glyph on the sacred stone and complete the quest. Every sacred stone quest is rewarded with a Ravenous Flock Manual, which unlocks the Ravenous Flock witchcraft ability. If you complete the full "Pilgrimage for Power" quest line, you can fully upgrade Ravenous Flock at any shrine, provided you have enough skill points. Whether you've decided to do "A Mother's Plea" or not, here's where to find all four sacred stones on The Blood of Dawnwalker's map, including a walkthrough for each "Pilgrimage for Power" sub-quest. Sacred Stone location #1 — 'A Pilgrimage for Power: Bear Trouble' walkthrough The first sacred stone quest, "A Pilgrimage for Power: Bear Trouble," starts in Briar Sloughs, southwest of Laslea Glen and north of Mert's Mill, where you may have done "The Firebrand" quest. A bit further up, you'll find a Ravenous Bear. Defeat it, then inspect the Uriashi corpse, the knife in front of the sacred stone, as well as the sacred stone itself. You'll receive a Ravenous Flock Manual. Sacred Stone location #2 — 'A Pilgrimage for Power: Dark-Thing' walkthrough The sacred stone location that starts "A Pilgrimage for Power: Dark-Thing" is located on the border of the map, west of Svartrau City. The best way to reach it is to take the path west of Boar's Back Tower, along the Rocky Glade and Steep Steps Way shrines, before passing through Westridge Outpost. From there, keep going north. Further up, shortly after you get the "find out what happened" objective, an Essence of Grief wraith will appear (keep following the wind chimes, and you can't miss it). Defeat it, then follow the rest of the route to the sacred stone, where you'll meet two Uriashi. You don't need to fight them; just tell them you've defeated the Essence of Grief, and they'll happily give you access to the stone (even if you've killed their brethren). If you didn't kill the Essence of Grief, you must either go back and do it anyway, or kill the two Uriashi. You'll get the Ravenous Flock Manual either way. Sacred Stone location #3 — 'A Pilgrimage for Power: Fanatics' walkthrough "A Pilgrimage for Power: Fanatics" starts in St. Tyna's Grove, east of Svartrau City. It's just northwest of St. Tyna's Grove Tower and a bit further northwest of the Old Inn, where you may have met with Anca during "Echoes of Silenced Bells." When you see the wooden cross and the scattered bodies, interact with the cross to investigate what remains of the sacred stone. Although fanatics have destroyed it, they left behind a piece of paper revealing the Uriashi glyph. Once you've completed your investigation, an Uriashi will approach you. You can either attack him or agree that it was right to kill the fanatics. Either way, you'll receive your Ravenous Flock Manual. Sacred Stone location #4 — 'A Pilgrimage for Power: The Ritual' walkthrough The fourth and final sacred stone in The Blood of Dawnwalker is in the Tantari Woods, on the south side of the map. Follow the river to the south, passing Tantari Tower, until you reach the Vedera Spring shrine. Go east from there. She's without a doubt the toughest enemy you'll face in "A Pilgrimage for Power." Beware of her special attack; when she lifts one arm and draws blue lightning toward her, she's about to unleash a series of four lightning bolts. They'll travel toward you, so be sure to dodge in time. If you're standing very close to the Witch of Barren Peaks when she initiates this attack, you must dodge four times in a row to avoid damage. When she's dead, feel free to investigate the camp to learn more about the Witch. When you're ready, interact with the sacred stone to obtain the final Ravenous Flock Manual and complete "A Pilgrimage for Power" in The Blood of Dawnwalker.
