Star Wars is the most iconic sci-fi movie franchise of all time. As such, interest is always high in the franchise, which has mostly moved away from the big screen in recent years. Before The Mandalorian and Grogu was released in theaters a couple of months ago, the last Star Wars movie was 2019's Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. In the period between those two Star Wars movies, the space opera franchise ventured into what the small screen could offer. Several Star Wars TV shows were released on Disney+. That includes both live-action series, like Pedro Pascal's The Mandalorian, and animated projects, like the recent hit Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord. In addition to that, Disney+ is also the home of all Star Wars movies, ranging from the three trilogies in the Skywalker Saga to spinoffs like the beloved Rogue One.
