2 min readAlix Earle seems to be a girl who does it all. She’s got a skin care empire, a new reality TV show dropping on Netflix this Friday, and 1.7 billion—with a ‘B’—likes on TikTok. With all her jet-setting and hustling, you’d think she never has time for the gym. Well, she does—and her routine is surprisingly simple. In a video she posted on TikTok, the social media star said the full-body workout takes her a little less than an hour. And, she has actually been posting about some variation of this exact routine for over a year now, so it’s safe to say many of these exercises are her tried-and-trues.Follow along with the beginner-friendly routine below.First, Alix warms up with some cardio. Before she hits the weights, Alix steps on the elliptical for a low-impact cardio warm-up. She spends 30 minutes at a level 8 resistance to get her heart rate up.If you don’t have an elliptical, opting for a treadmill walk with incline, or even a fast-paced walk around your block will do the trick. Just make sure your heart rate is elevated and you’re breaking a sweat by the end. Then, she’s ready to lift. For her first circuit, Alix hits leg extension, followed by upper-body-focused biceps curl, overhead press, and bent-over row—each for three to four sets of 12 reps. (As for how she determines whether or not to go for that fourth set? “I just go until I feel like I can’t do it anymore,” she said in the video.)Don’t have a leg extension machine? Sub the move for a resistance band leg extension or a box step up to still work those quads.Next, Alix gives her glutes some love and transitions into three sets of 12 weighted squats (Alix uses 20 pounds) followed by 12 pulses. As a known Pilates girl, this section of the routine feels very Pilates-inspired.Finally, for her last stretch of moves, Alix continues to work on her glutes, followed by some core moves with rainbow kicks, donkey kick pulses, fire hydrants, Crunch, Bicycle Crunch, alternate leg lowers, Scissor Kick, Russian Twist, and alternating cross-body Toe Tap for a minute each. (If a move is single-sided, she does a minute on each side.)Alix Earle’s Workout RoutineWarm up: 30 minutes of cardio.
