Alix Earle Breaks Silence on Feud With Alex Cooper: ‘You Know How Sick and Twisted You Are’

Earle admitted she “stayed quiet for so long” because she was “scared” of the Call Her Daddy podcast host Alix Earle has finally broken her silence on her feud with Alex Cooper. The final episode of Earle Meets World picked up just after Cooper, 32, directly called out 25-year-old Earle in an April TikTok. In the video, Cooper confronted Earle over her “passive-aggressive reposts” online and accused her of starting “fake drama” amid a long-rumored rift between the two. At the time, Earle only teased her potential response to Cooper, but has publicly remained mostly silent about the conflict until now. While talking to her family, Earle admitted she “stayed quiet for so long” because she was “scared” of the Call Her Daddy podcast host. “Everyone tells me not to fight with [Cooper] because they always win and they always come out on top,” she said. “[Cooper] even said to me, ‘You don’t want to go to war with me,’ ” she added. The rift seemingly came to a head after Earle abruptly exited Unwell, Cooper’s media network, after only two years in February 2025. At the time, Earle didn’t divulge details about what prompted her departure, but hinted at there being friction in an interview with The Wall Street Journal. “That was, behind the scenes, a little bit of a hot mess,” Earle said last May. Looking back at her time with Unwell, Earle alleged that there were “constantly issues” with the podcast network. Her father and manager, TJ Earle, claimed his daughter was not given proper resources to film her then-podcast, Hot Mess, while other Unwell shows had crews to help with filming and production. TJ went on to allege that as Cooper’s lack of support for Earle’s podcast became more apparent, she also stopped inviting Earle to events and parties. On the show, Earle said she only found out that she was no longer working with Unwell through the media. “From the start, I didn’t realize things were going wrong because I was obsessed with her. I was like, ‘This is my idol. I’m so happy to work with her,’ ” Earle said. “And then [I] constantly felt taken advantage of and used and mistreated and manipulated.” Editor’s picks She got emotional as she said, “What I was thinking — which makes me so sad for me at the time — is I was so happy. I trusted her so much, and all she did was just shit on it.” Earle also reflected on her 2023 appearance on Call Her Daddy, saying Cooper put her in an “uncomfortable” position by having her drink before they began filming and then asking her sexually charged questions. Earle said she asked Cooper to cut certain parts of the interview and not include it in the episode, but Cooper refused. “We’re filming her podcast, and she’s having us drink before and then asking me really sexual questions I wasn’t comfortable with. But then I’m also answering ‘cause I’m drunk,” Earle claimed. “I’m imagining myself in her shoes, to take someone in college, who’s young, impressionable, you know looks up to you, and then ask them these raunchy questions. It’s stuff that I didn’t necessarily want to live on the internet forever.” The experience left Earle feeling “betrayed.” Though Earle did not publicly respond to Cooper’s April call-out, she read a text message she had drafted and was considering sending. “I wanted to write you directly and let you know I don’t like you. I’m not gonna fall for your bait of getting into a back-and-forth online, and I don’t think you want that either,” began the message, which she read aloud to her father and stepmother. You’re right, I may be petty, but I’m not malicious.
