Ali G’s ‘new Julie’ Morgana Robinson’s VERY famous half-sister revealed – who she ‘didn’t know existed’ until she was 22

AFTER it was revealed that Morgana Robinson is starring in the brand new Ali G movie as the ‘new Julie’, the actress’ family connection to a very famous rocker has been unearthed. Comedian and impressionist Morgana and her celeb half-sister were long-lost until their twenties when she learned of her existence. Morgana, who was born in Australia but raised in the UK, previously recalled how she was brought up as an only child but knew her father had other children out there – whom she had never met. But older sister Brody says they did actually meet as children, but Morgana didn’t remember because she was just a toddler – with the family soon splitting apart and living at other sides of the world. In an interview with The Guardian, the two siblings told their sides of the story, and how they found one another again. One day, years later, I was working in a restaurant and got a phone call from my father – we don’t talk much – saying: ‘Your sister is on the front cover of The Face; she’s a rock star now. She lives in LA and she’s changed her name from Bree to Brody’.” The siblings finally met again in 2004, when Morgana arrived backstage at one of Brody’s concerts in Brixton. While Morgana recalled “crying her eyes out” both before and during the meet, Brody said: “I remember coming off stage at Brixton Academy and my tour manager saying: ‘There’s a surprise in this room.’ Most read in Showbiz “I walked in and there she was. It was unreal. We just stared at each other. I couldn’t believe how beautiful she was. I don’t remember what we said, but can picture the moment.” The sisters instantly became close and have had a tight-knit relationship ever since. They also have a half-brother and believe to have two other sisters in the family. Brody was previously married to Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme for 14 years, but is now in a relationship with partner Gunner Foxx. She has stepped back from music in recent years whilst focusing on her split from Josh and their custody battle. While Morgana has a thriving TV career and has fans looking forward to the upcoming Ali G movie mockumentary, which revives Sacha Baron Cohen‘s famous character after the original movie was unveiled 24 years ago. She replaces EastEnders star Kellie Bright as his girlfriend in the 2026 flick. Comment now
