Some of Daddario's most famous movie and TV show roles include Annabeth Chase in the Percy Jackson films, Rowan Fielding in AMC's Mayfair Witches, Rachel Patton in ABC's The White Lotus season 1, and Lisa Tragnetti in HBO's True Detective season 1. More recently, she starred in the comedy-drama movie Couples Weekend alongside Josh Gad, Daveed Diggs, Ashley Park, and Kevin Pollak, with Nora Kirkpatrick directing. One of Daddario's next roles appears to be in Prime Video's romantic comedy series Escorted. It was previously announced that Ted Lasso's Brett Goldstein is starring in, writing, and executive producing the show, in which he plays a divorced father who accidentally becomes a male escort. He is also going to be the co-showrunner alongside Shrinking producer and actor Brian Gallivan, and Lesley Manville has been cast in the series regular role of Terri, the charismatic mother to Goldstein's character. In set photos from Backgrid (via Just Jared), Daddario can be seen filming alongside Goldstein during production in New York City. The two actors are seen walking arm-in-arm and smiling at each other, along with an image of them walking out of a building, and another of Daddario crossing the street alone. Unlike Goldstein and Manville, her casting has not been officially revealed yet, so it is unknown who she is playing. Click here to see the Escorted set photos. While Escorted does not have an official rating yet, it will presumably be TV-MA, the television equivalent of an R-rating, due to the main character becoming a male escort. Goldstein is coming off a different R-rated romantic comedy, Office Romance, a Netflix movie released on June 5 that he starred in, co-wrote, and produced. In the film, he plays lawyer Daniel Blanchflower, who begins a passionate and secret romance with his boss, Jackie Cruz (Jennifer Lopez). Escorted received an eight-episode straight-to-series order, with each of the episodes having an approximately half-hour runtime. The lead studio is Warner Bros. Television, who Goldstein has an overall deal with, and it is co-produced by Amazon MGM Studios. This is Goldstein's first Prime Video original after previously working with Apple TV on Ted Lasso and Shrinking and with Netflix on Office Romance. Both Goldstein and Daddario have major shows returning in the near future, with Ted Lasso season 4 premiering on August 5 and Mayfair Witches season 3 slated for 2027. Goldstein reprises the role of Roy Kent, in addition to writing and executive producing season 4 of Apple TV's hit sports comedy series. Along with playing Rowan again in Mayfair Witches, Daddario can also be seen later this year in Hershey, a biopic about the titular chocolatier in which she plays his wife, Catherine "Kitty" Hershey. It is scheduled to be released in theaters on November 25. As for their Escorted co-star, Manville, she is known for her Academy Award-nominated performance as Cyril in Paul Thomas Anderson's Phantom Thread, her Primetime Emmy Award-winning portrayal of Princess Margaret in Netflix's The Crown, and her Golden Globe-nominated performance as the eponymous character in Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris.
