Aldi’s new 3-limit rule is coming into force for sell-out £10 summer dupe tomorrow

ALDI will be imposing a limit on a popular alcoholic drink tomorrow as fans are set to flock to the supermarket. An alcoholic wine that previously sold out is set to return to shelves on August 27, but there is a catch. The original wine first went viral on TikTok in 2024 as fans clamored for French drink La Vieille Ferme Rosé, produced in the Rhône by Famille Perrin. Many fans struggled to pronounce the French name and ultimately took to calling it the “chicken wine” due to the label illustration. Following the drink’s popularity, Aldi launched its own Le Petit Poulet Rosé. The reduced cost of the larger version of the drink, is set to be released on Thursday, will be £9.99. This price cut means shoppers can get the equivalent of two bottles for less than £10, as the normal bottle holds 75cl. According to the supermarket, the popular drink is “defined by its freshness, character, and Provençal spirit” leading to it becoming a “viral sensation”.
