Alaska Zoo responds to distressing viral video of brown bear attack on smaller bear

A distressing video showing a brown bear attacking a smaller bear at an Alaska zoo has gone viral, sparking concern among animal rights advocates. The attack reportedly lasted up to 30 minutes, with a zookeeper eventually intervening by spraying pepper spray to separate the bears. The incident highlights the complex dynamics within bear populations and raises questions about zoo management practices. The zoo's response is crucial not just for the immediate safety of the bears but also for public trust in how such facilities handle potentially dangerous situations.
