England legend Alan Shearer could be seen dancing on a table and singing karaoke during the Rest is Football's post-World Cup party, as they celebrated the show's contract extension with Netflix.Spain secured a second star on their crest on Sunday afternoon with a dogged 1-0 victory over defending champions Argentina at MetLife Stadium.Shearer and Micah Richards worked the final with the BBC, with the former in the commentary booth, and the latter on punditry duty alongside Wayne Rooney and Joe Hart inside the ground.But soon after the coverage came to an end, the pair joined Gary Lineker in the Rest is Football studio in New York to record their final episode of the tournament, before enjoying an after-party.The 38-year-old posted videos on his Instagram story showing Shearer with a microphone in hand, enjoying some karaoke.The former England captain was captured singing Rick Astley's 'Never Gonna Give You Up', before he could later be seen finishing off 'Mr. Brightside' by the Killers while dancing on a table. 'From the start of the Premier League season, which kicks off in just 32 days, we're back on Netflix, baby!'The former Match of the Day host then confirmed that episodes of the show will be released on a weekly basis.It will likely see the iconic trio join forces again to discuss the biggest stories of the weekend, with guests joining on occasion.During the World Cup, they hosted footballers and celebrities such as Harry Maguire, Patrick Vieira, Maya Jama, Michael McIntyre, and even New York mayor Zohran Mamdani was interviewed by Lineker.It was not the only show that Lineker was a part of during the tournament, though, with the footballer-turned-presenter also appearing on ITV in a surprise guest slot during the group stage.In a move that shocked football fans when it was first mooted, Lineker made an appearance on ITV’s coverage of Germany versus Ivory Coast.
