You have to be a very smart player to play multiple positions on the offensive line. He commands the offensive line by identifying the front, linebackers and making checks throughout the game. “Ryan is being recruited at the next level as an interior lineman but is willing to be utilized wherever he is needed to help the team. One of the stronger players on the team, we look forward to Ryan to use his strength and physicality to drive our run game.”Deavion McKinstry, Parker, senior The 6-foot-2, 270-pound guard has a 3.4 GPA and returns as a starter for the Thundering Herd.“Deavion is another key piece of our offensive line and a natural leader on and off the field,” Parker coach Frank Warren said. Daniel Means, Pinson Valley, junior Means has an 80-inch wingspan and 3.4 GPA. The offensive tackle has an offer from Alabama State and stands out as one of the top prospects of his class.“Daniel has a huge upside; he’s a giant at 6-foot-5, 285 pounds,” Pinson Valley coach Logan Colafrancesco said. “He will be a huge recruit for the 2028 class.”Ikcurious (Ike) Newell, Benjamin Russell, senior The 6-foot-4, 310-pound guard has emerged as one of Benjamin Russell’s best players up front. Newell has offers from East Tennessee, Middle Tennessee and North Alabama.“Ike has played defensive lineman until last season, when we needed some help on the offensive line,” Wildcats coach Kirk Johnson said. “He came over, learned a ton and became one of our best offensive linemen last year. Ike is a physical player with good weight and length, and with his communication skills, he is a very versatile player on our offensive line.” Courtland Norman, Wetumpka, sophomore Norman started nine games at left tackle as a freshman at 6-foot-2 and 304 pounds. The versatile offensive lineman attended several college prospect camps over the summer and is drawing attention from Division I and Division II programs. “Courtland has a lot of upside as he competed as a freshman in a very competitive 6A Region 2,” Wetumpka coach Bear Woods said. “Courtland had to grow up fast, and he gained valuable experience from last year that he can take with him this season. He has had tremendous growth from a body size perspective but has also shown growth in the weight room with increases in maxes in squat, power clean and bench press. Brock Porter, Chilton County, seniorThe 6-foot-5, 255-pound offensive lineman also plays baseball for the Tigers. Porter has emerged as an intriguing college football prospect. “The two players to watch on the offensive line this year will be seniors Brock Porter and Christian Yaras,” Tigers coach Thomas Hughes said. “Brock will provide support at the left tackle position. His frame will help protect the blindside of our quarterback. Other than his size, his footwork and speed are what will make him a good option to play at the next level.”Zamarion Price, Brookwood, senior Price plays guard, nose guard and defensive end at 6-foot-1 and 270 pounds.“Zamarion started on the offensive line last year,” Panthers coach Chris Foster said. “Expectation for Zamarion is to be an anchor for the offensive line and rotate in on the defensive line. He has offers from a good list of schools and will be furthering his playing career at the conclusion of his senior season.” Dawson Roden, Boaz, seniorRoden contributes on both sides of the ball as an offensive lineman and a defensive end at 6-foot-2 and 250 pounds with a 76-inch wingspan.“Dawson plays left tackle and is the anchor on the offensive line for us,” Pirates coach Luke Pruitt said. “He is very athletic and helps along the defensive line as well. Jayden Travis-Williams, Central-Tuscaloosa, seniorThe 6-foot-5, 310-pound offensive tackle has a 3.8 GPA with an 80-plus-inch wingspan. Travis-Williams has 19 Division I offers, benches 315 pounds and squats 505 pounds. He committed to Coastal Carolina. Bryson Trusley, Arab, seniorTrusley plays center, guard and nose guard at 6-foot-3 and 255 pounds with a 4.15 GPA. The track athlete recorded 29 big blocks in 2025 with a 4.95-second 40-yard dash, 500-plus-pound squat and 300-plus-pound bench. He is being recruited by NAIA and Division II schools.Braylen Underwood, Boaz, senior The 6-foot-7, 260-pound right tackle has a Division II offer and has drawn interest from small colleges.“Braylen’s length and size make him a perfect tackle body,” Pirates coach Luke Pruitt said. “We are excited about his senior season and expect him to flourish at tackle.” Donovan Wilkerson, Jasper, senior Wilkerson is 6-foot-3 and 315 pounds with a 3.0 GPA and three Division I offers.“Donovan will be a three-year starter, and he has continued to grow as a player,” Vikings coach David Reeves said. “He has great size and athletic ability for his size. Donovan holds multiple Division I offers and will be one of the best offensive tackles in the state.”Jayden Williams, Calera, senior Williams transferred from Montevallo and plays tackle at 6-foot-3 and 290 pounds. The football and basketball athlete runs a 5.4-second 40-yard dash, benches 275 pounds, squats 500 and deadlifts 500. He has drawn interest from several colleges. “Jayden has the opportunity for a big year,” Eagles coach Scott Rials said.Stafford Willis, Arab, senior The 6-foot-5, 300-pound three-year starter recorded 38 big blocks and allowed zero sacks in 2025. Willis is No. 47 in 247Sports’ rankings of Alabama’s class of 2027 and committed to Alabama in June.“Stafford is a team leader — I can’t say enough good things about him,” Knights coach Kyle Routon said. “Stafford is the best offensive lineman I have ever coached. He makes checks at the line and makes our offense go.”Christian Yaras, Chilton County, senior Yaras plays center, guard and tackle at 6-foot-1 and 210 pounds.“The two players to watch on the offensive line this year will be seniors Brock Porter and Christian Yaras,” Tigers coach Thomas Hughes said. “Yaras provides the most experience on the offensive line and will prove to be the centerpiece on the offensive line at center. He will be a three-year starter on the offensive line.
