Alabama WR Ryan Coleman-Williams expected to play against LSU

Alabama wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams is currently expected to play against No. 14 LSU on Saturday, On3’s Pete Nakos and Chris Low report. Coleman-Williams underwent arthroscopic surgery on his injured knee in mid-Oct. and has missed back-to-back games. Coleman-Williams had to be helped off the field ahead of halftime of Alabama‘s game against No. 2 Georgia on Oct. 10 after landing awkwardly in the end zone while attempting to catch a touchdown. He also took a hard hit to the helmet from multiple Bulldog defenders later in the game, which ended his day. The junior receiver has hauled in 23 receptions for 415 yards and four scores this season. $39.99 gets you a FULL year of On3 | Rivals national coverage “A lot of these guys from Zabien Brown to Ryan Coleman-Williams, EJ [Crowell], Racin [Delgatty], Terrance Green in particular … those guys are all working onto the football field,” head coach Kalen DeBoer said earlier this week. “They’re not all in the exact same spot, but they’re all out there going through workouts. Some are taking team reps, some are taking non-contact reps. “But I think the progress by all of them is headed in a good direction. We’ll see. I think a lot of it has to do with how their bodies respond after they’re out there being pushed a little bit more at the end of the last week, yesterday, as well. And that will continue to happen throughout the course of the week.” Alabama can earn second ranked victory of season with win over No. 14 LSU Alabama heads into Saturday’s game against the Tigers ranked No. 5 in the first College Football Playoff Rankings of the 2026 season. This ranking seemed particularly high for Kalen DeBoer‘s team, which had lost back-to-back games (No. 2 Georgia and No. 14 Tennessee) before bouncing back with a 31-20 win over Texas A&M on Oct. 24. Alabama enjoyed its much-needed bye-week, and will head into Saturday’s game well-rested. Crimson Tide quarterback Keelon Russell struggled without Coleman-Williams on the field in Alabama‘s 26-10 loss to No. 14 Tennessee. Russell was held to a season-low 147 passing yards and no touchdowns with two interceptions in the 16-point loss. He bounced back, however, against the Aggies, passing for 311 yards and three touchdowns. Coleman-Williams will certainly provide a spark for Alabama‘s defense in Saturday’s game. In two career games against LSU, the junior has hauled in a combined five catches for 62 yards and one touchdown.
