Alabama high school football rankings: 3 new teams join Power 25

Three previously unranked teams vaulted into the AL.com Power 25 high school football rankings this week led by No. 14 UMS-Wright.Sam Williams’ Bulldogs defeated McGill-Toolen 20-17 to win the Double-A Region 1 crown and take the top seed for the playoffs. The Bulldogs (8-1) have won eight straight games since opening the season with a loss at Jackson Prep, Miss. They host Baldwin County in the regular-season finale on Friday.No. 23 Fairhope returned to the top 25 after beating rival Daphne to win the Class 6A, Region 1 title in Caleb Ross’ first year as head coach. Scottsboro is in at No. 22 following a 56-0 whipping of Sardis. The Wildcats are 9-0 and have outscored their opponents 415-44 for the season.
