Akron family ‘still using plastic bags’ following city promise to repair private sewer line

Akron resident Tiffany Foxworth-Smith is claiming that her family is still unable to use toilets as intended following sewer work that began on March 12. The city initially sent Foxworth-Smith a $30,000 bill for the repairs, but it later reversed course and agreed to pay for the repairs following public outcry.
