The story follows him as Adam Clay, a beekeeper who sets out for revenge after a phishing scam ruins his landlady's life. While he poses as a "beekeeper," he's also a retired "Beekeeper," a government assassin, who will stop at nothing to get his revenge. The Beekeeper earned critical praise and was a box office hit, earning $162.6 million against a $40 million budget. Following its success, The Beekeeper 2 was announced, with filming taking place between September and November 2025. The sequel will be in theaters on January 15, 2027, bringing Statham's Adam into a new chapter of his action-focused adventures.
