Sign in to your ScreenRant account Thirteen years after it first aired, Black Mirror invites fans to revisit one of its greatest episodes of all time, direct from the mind of franchise creator Charlie Brooker. From the romance of 'San Junipero' to the existential horror of 'USS Callister,' fans will always be divided on the best Black Mirror entry. However, for our money, that honor goes to 'White Bear' and its combination of a freaky post-apocalypse and brutally dark twist ending. The episode sees Lenora Crichlow's Victoria wake to a world gone mad, where vicious Hunters pursue innocent victims, while the majority of people stand back and video it all on their phones. In the episode's horrific ending, fans learn Victoria's experiences are part of a 'Justice Park' where she's repeatedly mindwiped and terrorized, with voyeur members of the public invited to participate. THEY ALREADY DO. A woman wakes in an empty house. No memory. No explanation. Outside, the world has gone quiet - except for the people holding up their phones. They film her. They follow her. They never intervene. As she runs, pieces of a life she can’t remember begin to surface. A signal. A symbol. A place called White Bear. And the growing certainty that whatever is appening… it is meant for her. One of Black Mirror’s most uncompromising stories, now reimagined as a graphic novel - to read, to keep, and to feel the weight of every panel. This is a developing story, more will be added shortly...
