African high school students explore Vermont through a leadership program and cultural exchange

The Youth Ambassadors Africa Program brought 65 high school students and 10 mentors from Africa to Vermont for a two-week leadership and cultural exchange initiative from July 10 to July 28. Participants engaged in a variety of activities designed to foster cross-cultural understanding and leadership skills. This program not only offers African students a unique glimpse into American culture and educational systems but also aims to build global citizenship. Such exchanges are crucial in today's interconnected world, promoting mutual respect and understanding between diverse cultures.
