Shortly before, she had called off their alleged three-month intimate relationship, according to court documents. Luchau-Rebora allegedly started the romance in June 2025 while working as an intern at the New Hope C.O.R.P.S. addiction treatment center in Homestead, Florida. Luchau-Rebora also “facilitated alibis on his behalf, which allowed him authorization to leave the restricted facility and engage in sexual intercourse on multiple occasions”, according to court documents. They allegedly had sex at her home in Pinecrest, the suspect‘s mother’s property in Key Biscayne, and in the Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital. The intern demanded that he not tell anyone about their relationship because it would “affect her ability to work as a therapist”, the documents claimed. Most read in The Sun Luchau-Rebora ended the alleged relationship last autumn. The man then reported her to facility officials, who then contacted police, the documents state. Stephen Alvarez, the New Hope C.O.R.P.S. executive director, told WPLG: “Upon becoming aware of the allegations, New Hope promptly reported the matter to the appropriate authorities and agencies, terminated the individual’s internship, and fully cooperated with the subsequent investigation.” The former intern has since been charged with sexual misconduct by a psychotherapist – a third-degree felony in Florida. She faces five years behind bars if convicted. Luchau-Rebora is no longer in custody after posting a $5,000 bond Wednesday night. “I’m not going to comment on anything. You can ask my lawyer,” she told a Florida journalist before telling them to leave her alone. “This is kinda weird,” she added. “I really don’t wanna add anything right now.” Comment now
