Adam Driver's Son Makes Extremely Rare Public Appearance at MLB Game

Adam Driver and Wife Joanne Tucker Privately Welcome BabyAdam Driver's latest family outing is a total home run. After all, the Girls alum took his and wife Joanne Tucker's son to the Miami Marlins vs. New York Mets ballgame on July 31. Not only did the duo got to swing by New York's Citi Field during a Spider-Man-themed night, but the father and son also got to meet Mr. Met and Mrs. Met on their home turf. And the 42-year-old and his mini-me were dressed for the occasion, sporting matching black Mets caps. In footage circulating on social media, Driver and his son proudly showed off their hats as they waved to the camera while appearing on the stadium's jumbotron. It was an extremely rare public sighting, as the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker actor is notoriously private about his family—which also includes his and Tucker's younger daughter—and has never publicly revealed either of his kids' names. In fact, he has likened his attempts to shield them away from the spotlight as "a military operation.""My job is to be a spy—to be in public and live life and have experience," he told the New Yorker in 2019, two year after the birth of his son. As the Marriage Story star shared during a 2023 appearance on SmartLess, "He is very protective of her." "We gave him you know six years of attention," he added at the time, "and he's totally fine." Plus, being a dad has also affected Driver in the acting jobs he takes.
