Ababahalamaha Finds New Warehouse, Plans to Resume Shipping Next Week

Ababahalamaha, Ukraine’s leading children’s book publisher, wrote on Facebook that it has found a new warehouse and is preparing to resume shipping orders, days after a Russian strike destroyed its previous facility. Ababahalamaha wrote on Facebook at the time that the strike had hit its warehouse directly. The publishing house is known for translations of J.K. Rowling’s “Harry Potter” series, editions of poems by the most prominent Ukrainian poets (Lina Kostenko, Vasyl Stus, Serhiy Zhadan, Yuriy Andrukhovych, Iryna Zhylenko, Yurko Izdryk, Atylla Mohylniy and others), translations of Shakespeare. “In the near future, there will be delays in shipping orders. Many of our beautiful books burned, resulting in huge financial losses,” the publisher wrote in the post. “We are grateful for the overwhelming love and support we’ve felt in these days. It inspires us to keep working and creating,” the company wrote in its latest update on Facebook. The publisher stated that it is actively preparing the new site and loading it with books, and hopes to resume shipping orders as early as next week. “Once again, thank you to everyone who has ordered, is ordering, and will order our books. This means a great deal to us,” it added.
