Aaron Rodgers’ brother Jordan makes rare comment about quarterback after it’s revealed he’s only ‘cordial’ with him

Jordan publicly showed his support for Aaron on ESPN’s “First Take” Wednesday, making rare comments about the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback. Jordan — a college football analyst at ESPN — was asked which AFC quarterback he would trust most in the playoffs, which aside from Aaron, includes Josh Allen (Buffalo Bills), Bo Nix (Denver Boncos), Trevor Lawrence (Jacksonville Jaguars), Patrick Mahomes (Kansas City Chiefs), Joe Burrow (Cincinnati Bengals) and Drake Maye (New England Patriots). The “Bachelorette” alum surprisingly chose Aaron who, at 42, is the oldest of the group. I think Josh Allen is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL right now. Him and Caleb Williams [Chicago Bears] are right up there for me. The Steelers know who they are, though.” He continued, “They have an elite defense that’s playing at a high level, and they run the freaking ball. So they’re asking less of Aaron than maybe he ever has at any point in his career, right?” Jordan, 38, then praised Aaron’s “veteran status.” “I just feel like I trust the guy that’s got the MVPs, that has the veteran status, that’s seen everything, that is also not required everything of him for them to win,” he explained. “I think that’s a good sweet spot they’re in.” Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers speaks at a press conference in Saint-Denis, France, on Oct. 25. The source told us, “It seems like Aaron has led the public to believe things are better than they actually are with Jordan.” Aaron made headlines in July when he reunited with his family — mom Darla, dad Ed and older brother Luke — after years of estrangement. The NFL athlete posted pics of him with his parents as well as Luke, and noted that the family was “bonding” in the caption. Jordan was noticeably absent from the post. Aaron then threw some not-so-subtle shade at Jordan the following month, alluding to the time when Jordan competed on “The Bachelorette” in 2016 and shockingly told viewers about their estrangement. Instagram/ jrodgers11 “I’ve been really staunch, going back to when there was a schism, that I feel like that stuff should be off limits,” Aaron told the Athletic. “Now, not everybody in the family adhered to the same thing.” “But there are different things, situations, experiences, and people that actually change your life,” he continued while shying away from saying Jordan’s name. But Aaron confirmed he had reconciled with his little brother during his appearance on the “Not Just Football” podcast in September. “Now, full circle, [we’re] back together,” he said of his family. “It’s amazing. It’s been great to have all those people — my little brother, my older brother and his family, my parents — that’s been really, really special.” Community Guidelines Welcome to the Page Six Community!
