Last summer, Jack Kay, 26, was eking out a modest living grafting on construction sites in his native Newcastle, after leaving school aged 16.A year on, things are looking rather different. For last August, an eight-second video clip posted to TikTok catapulted Jack to worldwide fame - and helped him accrue an estimated fortune approaching £2million.The now iconic snippet featured Jack dancing in an open-air nightclub in Ibiza, sporting an extraordinary razor-sharp bowl hair cut and neatly trimmed chinstrap beard - along with his now trademark chunky gold chain, designer sunglasses and a black tank top that highlighted his bulked up, heavily tattooed frame.Quickly amassing more than 20million views, the footage turned Jack - better known as the Ibiza Final Boss - into an overnight internet sensation.Now, he's enjoying a jet-set lifestyle of fast cars, private aircraft and hanging out with the rich and famous while pocketing up to £60,000 a pop for personal appearances - simply by adopting the internet meme he became into a real-life persona.And 12 months on, he is now back on the Spanish holiday island where it all began, cashing in on his newfound fame while throwing himself back into the party lifestyle.But it seems not everyone is impressed with his meteoric rise. If you can get it, do it. 'He's just a normal, likeable lad. He is lovely, honest. A genuine kid, he is.'Describing his latest trip she said: 'So, his 27th birthday is coming up again and he will be in Ibiza for that.'They chose to go to Ibiza because that is his favourite place. He went for his 21st birthday, when they were young lads.'I haven't got a clue how long he is in Ibiza for this year, but he will be working, it is not a holiday this time.'She added: 'He is just living his life. Alisha was said to have been less than impressed when Jack (pictured) took off to Ibiza on a lads' holiday last year to celebrate his 26th birthday - on the trip which would later see him go viral Jack grew up in Newcastle and attended Lemington Riverside Primary School and Walbottle Academy, before leaving aged 16.He studied for the Construction Skills Certification Scheme qualification, gaining his card before starting out as a ground worker then passing his driving test soon afterwards.It was in early August 2025 that Jack - whose appearance has seen him compared with a Lego character - shot to fame overnight after he was filmed at the Zero Six West in San Antonio on Ibiza's west coast.Mum Kelly said: 'Some manager approached him there, after he went all over the internet for his dancing and appearance.'She hit out at claims her son had travelled to Turkey for a new set of teeth and insisted his unique look was not just for the holiday, but how her son styled himself at home.Kelly - who lives in a modest mid terrace house in Consett, County Durham with Jack's pet springer spaniel Alfie, 12, who he begged her to buy for him when he was a 14-year-old schoolboy - said: 'That's his real hair. He's got a thick head of hair. It looks like a bowl. And he hasn't got Turkey teeth, that's his real teeth - he just looks after them.'In the aftermath of the video, Jack cashed in on his overnight fame by signing lucrative brand endorsement deals, including a five-figure contract with BoohooMan.He is said to have earned £800,000 in just six weeks and went on to star in Channel 4 documentary 'The Ibiza Final Boss: Untold'. He's still the same nice lad. He would do anything for anybody, he is caring, he is genuine.'She added: 'He wasn't looking for fame, it just came to him. And he's handled it pretty well, to be quite honest. He is sensible.'Asked about her son's split from Alisha, Kelly simply said: 'I don't ask.'Meanwhile, Jack himself has insisted he doesn't see a long-term girlfriend being on the horizon for quite some time - although he didn't rule out finding love on the party isle.Slipping back into his new persona he said: 'I might do but I haven't found Mrs Ibiza Final Boss yet - but probably a couple of years for that.'
