It's now been six years since the release of A Quiet Place Part II, the follow-up to John Krasinski's surprise horror hit from 2018. After prequel A Quiet Place: Day One arrived in 2024, the story of the Abbott family is now finally set to continue in the upcoming A Quiet Place Part III, which is set to release on July 30, 2027. Speaking with RadioTimes, Noah Jupe, who plays Marcus Abbott, now shares a small hint about what's to come in A Quiet Place Part III, calling the film "big" and "bold." According to Jupe, the upcoming third installment "bookends" the story, bringing the Abbott family saga to a close. Check out his full comment below: "I mean, this is the third. This is the trilogy. This is the one. I think it pretty well bookends the series. It’s big and it’s bold! What was crazy is I didn’t realize how many crew were going to be the same [from the previous movies]. And that’s really what’s mad is that a lot of them sort of look the same that they did nine or 10 years ago because they’re in their 30s or 40s, so you don’t really change that much. But for them to sort of see me and Millie [Simmonds] so many years later and just seeing them again – you’ve spent probably a total of a year with these people when you’re a kid, and being older now it’s quite emotional and quite trippy! But it was good to be back. I love that crew. They’re a great group of people." The last time audiences saw Evelyn (Emily Blunt), Regan (Millicent Simmonds), and Marcus, they'd achieved a win against the blind monsters ravaging Earth. A Quiet Place Part II's ending features Regan and Emmett (Cillian Murphy) using a radio station to broadcast the frequency from Regan's cochlear implant, a sound that is revealed to disorient the monsters. The sequel's final moments suggest the Abbotts – and all their companions – now have a very real tactical advantage over A Quiet Place's distinct invading aliens. It's unclear how exactly Part III will build on this moment, but Jupe's comment about the film being big and bold suggests there could end up being some major action sequences in which humanity gains the upper hand. Filming on A Quiet Place Part III has now wrapped, and videos and pictures from the set have teased that some of the film will take place in New York City, seemingly when the attack first starts. If this is how Part III begins, it would track with the opening of Part II, which follows Krasinski's Lee Abbott as he survives the initial chaos from the attack. It remains to be seen how Krasinski and co-writers Scott Beck and Bryan Woods wrap up the story in A Quiet Place Part III, but Jupe's comment suggests the final movie in the trilogy won't be holding anything back. Though it's not clear if the film will serve as the swan song for the franchise or just for the Abbott story, it's evidently one to look forward to.
