A New Towards Data Science: A Faster Site and a Brand-New Contributor Portal

Data ScienceWe're excited to share some big news: We completely rebuilt the TDS website and our contributor portal. Whether you come here to read, to write, or both, here's what you can expect from our new site.Image generated with AIWhat's new for readersWe've rebuilt towardsdatascience.com from the ground up, but most of the changes affect the site’s infrastructure. The main positive effect for you is that the new site is faster. We've also moved to our own platform and have full control over every detail you see — unlike before, where WordPress limited what we could do. This means that, going forward, we can ship improvements and new features quickly, and can respond to reader feedback faster, too.Accessing the site remains the same, and your account continues to work exactly as it did before, with the same login and email preferences.One other thing that isn't changing: Our mission and editorial standards stay exactly the same. TDS remains the home for practitioner-written articles on data science, machine learning, and AI.Alongside the new site, we're relaunching our dedicated contributor portal at write.insightmediagroup.io. This is our new, cleaner home for everything related to writing and publishing with TDS.Navigating our WordPress-based publishing platform could get clunky and frustrating, and we’re grateful that our authors were patient and open-minded enough to learn to use it anyway. We believe that uploading and formatting articles in 2026 should be easy and intuitive, and decided it was time to build a publishing experience that reflected that. The new portal is the result.From the portal, you can write and submit your articles directly, and then follow them through every step of the review process.Getting started is simple: Just log in at the portal with your existing credentials. Now that we fully control the platform, our work is really just starting.
