A new Emmerdale arrival has devastating consequences after recent shock deaths

So much has changed (Picture: ITV/Metro) There’s a new arrival in town and with them comes accusations that could blow Emmerdale village life wide open. Their words and actions will have devastating consequences, but what might they be? Emmerdale fans have already witnessed one shock death, Dr Todd’s (Caroline Harker), and much loved Jimmy King (Nick Miles) died earlier this week. Today’s episode of the ITV soap also saw Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) die after giving birth to her baby. It’s been an absolutely horrific week for a number of residents – and this new arrival is here to make things worse. Are they here with accusations around Todd’s death? Producer Sophie Roper has promised that justice will find its way back to Sarah. ‘We will absolutely, through the course of this story, see the consequences of what Sarah has done,’ she said when asked if we’d see Sarah face justice. ‘…It’s complicated of course…There will be unexpected developments in this story that hopefully keep it engaging and exciting as we go through.’ Could Todd’s ex-wife be making an appearance to avenge her death, even though it sounds like their relationship was a rocky one? Or perhaps her other victim Helen could be coming back – she didn’t want to be involved in getting justice for Todd, but she knew how desperate Charity was to get it. Could she become a character witness against Charity? Perhaps this mystery newcomer has nothing to do with Todd and everything to do with Jimmy. We already know Patsy Kensit is back as Sadie King and filming scenes. As Jimmy’s ex-wife, could she have some secrets to share in the wake of his death?
