Co-created by Ira Parker and George R.R. Martin and based on the novellas by Martin, the Game of Thrones spinoff series premiered on January 18, telling the story of Ser Duncan the Tall (Peter Claffey) and his new squire, Egg (Dexter Sol Ansell). After earning glowing reviews and achieving viewership success, HBO confirmed that A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms season 2 will move forward. Ahead of the 2027 premiere of season 2, a new listing on Mutant reveals that Dan Romer's score for A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms season 1 will release this November. The release will take the form of a physical CD that comes with eight character portraits. Priced at $29, the CD will feature 22 tracks in total and was made as part of a partnership between Mutant, WaterTower Music, and HBO. Romer's score was nominated for an Emmy, one of nine in total that A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is up for, including Outstanding Drama Series. Whether the show takes home any statues will be revealed at the 78th Emmy Awards, which is scheduled to broadcast live on September 14. More to come...
