The reality of the Magic: The Gathering landscape right now is that in-universe sets are arguably of better quality, yet are often left with fewer products released and are available at a lower MSRP. This is great in many ways, but it also feels slightly disrespectful to the properties and sets that still utilize the OG planes and characters compared to licensed sets like Marvel and The Hobbit. With Reality Fracture, the major capstone set that brings to a close years of brilliant storytelling, we're getting just 13 total products, and that's being generous by counting packs and boxes separately. So, here's every Reality Fracture product you can buy and how much they should cost at MSRP. Play & Collector Boosters The Play Booster is the most basic product you can currently buy for a Magic: The Gathering set. It contains 14 playable cards plus a rules insert or token. Of these 14 cards, only three have the chance to be rare or mythic rare, and there is no bonus sheet or list for Reality Fracture, meaning no big-money surprises are possible beyond variants of cards from the main set. Stock of Play Booster boxes is expected to be tight at launch in North America due to a shipping issue. Collector Boosters are the premier version of Play Boosters where you get 15 playable cards plus a token. Up to five cards in a Collector Booster can be rare or mythic rare, while the packs are often split between the main set and Commander cards. You also have access to pack-exclusive cards in Collector Boosters, including the rarest cards in Reality Fracture, such as the serialized Bloodline Recollector. Play Booster - $5.49 Play Booster Box - $164.70 Collector Booster - $26.99 Collector Booster Box - $323.88 Prerelease Kit The only product on this list without a fixed MSRP is the Prerelease Kit. These contain six Play Boosters, a foil promo card, a set-themed D20, and themed packaging, as well as a small storage box for your cards. Draft Night - $89.99 How To Find Reality Fracture Products At MSRP It's becoming increasingly difficult to find most Magic: The Gathering products at MSRP right after launch. When it comes to Reality Fracture, you're already going to be paying over the odds on most Collector Booster boxes, but for now, all other products appear to be sticking close to or right at MSRP. Local game stores are often the best place to go to find stock at the right prices, especially WPN stores, which tend to have better access to greater volumes of stock. Failing this, you can keep checking Amazon, which gets regular restocks, with prices often fluctuating based on the volume of stock on hand at any given time. If possible, avoid paying over MSRP for any product at all, as it just promotes and encourages the behavior and rewards players who are acting in bad faith or have no attachment to the game whatsoever.
