Well, that's essentially the premise of Netflix's newest movie Ink, directed by Academy Award winner Danny Boyle.Starring Guy Pearce, Claire Foy, and Jack O'Connell, Ink is based on the acclaimed stage play of the same name and follows the rise of Rupert Murdoch's media empire.The new movie will be coming to Netflix soon and here's everything you need to know about it in the meantime.What is Ink about? Leading the cast of Ink is Guy Pearce (best known for The Brutalist and Priscilla Queen of the Desert) who will be playing media mogul Rupert Murdoch at the start of his decades-long career.Also in the cast is Jack O'Connell (Skins and Sinners) as Larry Lamb, the editor of The Sun, who was known for introducing the Page 3 section to the paper. Claire Foy, best known for playing Queen Elizabeth II in The Crown, plays Larry's wife Jules Davies and the deputy editor of the paper.When can I watch Ink? Ink will be debuting at the Venice Film Festival at the start of September this year. It will then be available in cinemas from December 11 and then on Netflix at the start of 2027 on January 8.
