911 outage affecting all of Manitoba outside of Winnipeg

The 911 emergency service is currently out of action for all communities in Manitoba except Winnipeg, following a breakdown at the dispatch center in Brandon on Wednesday. This outage means that residents in rural areas are unable to contact emergency services, which could be critical in urgent situations. The situation underscores the importance of reliable communication infrastructure, especially in regions where residents might be more isolated and rely heavily on emergency services.
