9 killed after bus catches fire in Greater Noida, some survivors had jumped out

The bus was travelling from Delhi to Mahoba when the fire broke out at around 11:30 pm.Around 40-50 people were travelling on the bus. As the fire erupted, passengers panicked and some of them jumped out of the moving vehicle to escape. The flames quickly engulfed the entire bus.A fire department team reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and brought the blaze under control.The cause of the fire remains unclear. Police are gathering further information from the passengers.Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took cognizance of the road accident in Greater Noida and expressed condolences to the families of those who died. The Chief Minister directed officials to ensure proper medical treatment for the injured.According to the Chief Minister's Office, Yogi Adityanath spoke to the families of the deceased and directed officials to provide all possible assistance.
