The occupants escaped unhurt as the vehicle was bulletproof.The incident took place near Khar Khoda Mor when the occupants were returning home after appearing in court for a hearing. According to the information available, the attackers were travelling in a Fortuner and another Scorpio and had followed the victims from the court.FIRING AT KHAR KHODA MORThe Scorpio was travelling towards home when the attackers reportedly opened fire near Khar Khoda Mor. Around eight to 10 rounds were fired at the vehicle, triggering panic in the area.The occupants of the targeted Scorpio included Rishi Pugthala, brother of gangster Ravindra Pugthala, along with other relatives, according to the information provided. The attackers targeted the Scorpio before fleeing the spot in their vehicles. No injuries were reported in the firing.The bulletproof vehicle is believed to have protected the occupants from the gunfire. Despite multiple rounds being fired at the Scorpio, those inside escaped safely.LAND DISPUTE UNDER PROBE Preliminary information suggests that a land dispute may have been behind the firing.
