64-year-old truck driver dies 10 days after crash on I-59 in Birmingham

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office on Tuesday identified the victim as Terry Lynn Goolsby. He lived in Mississippi. The wreck happened at 8:55 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, on I-59 southbound at Arkadelphia Road. Authorities said there were multiple vehicles involved in the crash. Goolsby was taken to UAB Hospital where he was pronounced dead on Sept. 19. The investigation is ongoing by Birmingham police.
