Police, however, are investigating all possible angles, including the rape allegation.CCTV FOOTAGE PROVIDES CRUCIAL CLUESDuring the search, police teams examined CCTV footage from cameras installed in and around the area. The footage provided crucial clues to the girl's disappearance. Police identified a suspect, took him into custody and questioned him. The girl's body was subsequently recovered.CCTV footage shows the accused luring the girl away and later carrying her in a sack towards a field. Police and forensic teams are now examining the circumstances leading to the girl's death. The girl's body has been sent for a post-mortem examination. Police said the examination is being conducted by a panel of doctors and is being videographed.The post-mortem report is expected to clarify the cause of death and establish other facts relevant to the investigation. Police officials and a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team also inspected the crime scene and collected evidence.DCP (Central Noida) Shailendra Singh said all aspects of the case were being thoroughly investigated. He said the accused had allegedly taken the girl from near a mosque while the family members were away at work."We started looking for the girl after some time but found no trace of her. We only learned what had happened after checking the camera footage," Noshid said.He added that the family handed the accused over to police and said they wanted justice for the child.Another relative alleged that the accused lured the girl away, took her into a house, killed her and then put her body in a sack.Police are continuing to interrogate the accused and investigate the motive, the circumstances of the girl's death and the sequence of events.
