Witchbrook Image: Chucklefish, Robotality After years of hype, the cozy Witchbrook is finally set to launch on Jan. 28. The multiplayer life sim drops you into a magical seaside town as you attend witch school. Wishlist Today City of None Image: Extremely OK Games City of None is a new 2D platformer from the co-creator of Celeste, and you shouldn’t need much more info than that to get excited about it. Wishlist Today My Arms Are Longer Now Image: Toot Games/Jackbox Games My Arms Are Longer Now has a one-of-a-king pitch, in that you control a very long arm that’s out to make everyone’s life miserable. Wishlist Today Threads of Time Image: Riyo Games/Balor Games While you wait for Square Enix to remake Chrono Trigger, developer Riyo Games is taking matters into its own hands. Threads of Time is an era-spanning turn-based RPG that is very clearly inspired by the classic RPG. It sports a unique art style too, which riffs on Square Enix’s HD-2D look but in an illustrative manner all its own. Wishlist Today Kitsune: The Journey of Adashino Image: Rias/Room6, Yokaze Steeped in Japanese folklore, Kitsune: The Journey of Adashino is a 3D adventure game about a fox girl and her froggy friend exploring a strange town. Light is the key to survival, as you’ll use it to rekindle shrines and fight off monsters. Wishlist Today Hyperyuki: Snowboarding Syndicate Image: Wabisabi Games/Acclaim Inc. While it feels like we may never get another SSX game, Hyperyuki: Snowboarding Syndicate may very well be the next best thing. The fast-paced snowboarding game promises stylish fun as you shred rails and trick your way towards victory. If it can get the soundtrack right, it should scratch a very specific itch quite well.
