6 small businesses secure $361 million in Pentagon contracts

Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, awarded the contract expected for completion by the end of the year.FSCX Inc., Lawton, Oklahoma, will provide specialized training on what soldiers need to do if captured or operating behind enemy lines. The payment of $12 million covers work through Aug. 25, 2029. The training will take place at Fort Rucker, Alabama. Army Field Directorate Office, Fort Eustis, Virginia, issued the award.U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, San Francisco, California, approved a $10 million deal for MGE Engineering Inc., Sacramento, California, to design flood-protection improvements along the Pajaro River in California.For close to $100 million, Research Innovations Inc., Alexandria, Virginia, will deliver and support the operation of its electronic warfare system. The company beat out 94 others to secure the five-year agreement approved by the Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.The Army’s 419th Contracting Support Brigade at Fort Drum, New York, approved APEX Engineering PLLC, Calvert City, Kentucky, for $16 million in architectural and engineering services to modernize the acid area tank farm at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant in Radford, Virginia. The estimated completion date is Feb. 28, 2028. A Navy award went to Castelion Corp., Torrance, California. Under a $90 million agreement, the company will provide engineering, technical, logistics and manufacturing services to develop a hypersonic weapon.
