The brand regularly undercuts Milwaukee and DeWalt on price, but if you're looking for something new, here are a few expensive Ryobi tools you'll love. Almost everything the company offers is wildly affordable, especially compared to Milwaukee. The only way the price tag climbs is when a tool is bundled with a bunch of battery packs, or it's somewhat of a niche item. That said, one slightly more expensive option from Ryobi that's highly worth it is an electric pressure washer. The company offers everything from small on-demand washers to powerful gas-powered cold-water engines and electric models, as shown above. While most of us already own some hand ratchets, having an electric ratchet makes every job vastly easier. And while you'll enjoy a regular electric ratchet, Ryobi's extended reach ratchet is the one I use most of the time. It's a bit longer, making it easy to reach nuts and bolts up high, or down low, without breaking your back. It's also my go-to tool for working on my truck and all those tight spots. It's a little more expensive than many Ryobi tools, while still being more affordable than most of the competition. Nail guns are like drills in that there are a ton of variants of the same system. Some are designed for finish nailing, others for framing, general contracting, and other things. Ryobi's 18V Airstrike Brad Nailer (18 gauge) with a battery is typically around $240, but you'll often find it on sale for under $200. It has enough power to instantly sink 2-inch nails into hardwood, trim, molding, and more, instantly, making it a great tool for remodeling around the house, installing new baseboards, and much more. It's one of those unique yet also multipurpose tools that once you own, you'll wonder why you didn't get one sooner.
