Childhood friends Maya (Ramakrishnan) and Anjali (Priyanka Kedia) attend UCLA together. To break out of their comfort zones, the two joins UCLA's competitive Bollywood-fusion dance team. The girls quickly realize that being part of the dance team is a full-time commitment, especially if they want to win the championship. All joking aside, there's more to the story of Ted Kaczynski than the fact that he became a domestic terrorist. In Unabomber, Jacob Tremblay stars as a younger Kaczynski, who studied mathematics at Harvard. Side note—I can't believe Tremblay, the superb child actor who starred in Room, is now 19. Folks, we're old! At Harvard, Kaczynski studied under Professor Henry Murray (Russell Crowe) and participated in questionable experiments. Did these experiments play a role in shaping the Unabomber's philosophies? The movie also depicts the manhunt to catch Kaczynski. The two-timeline approach to a complicated story like Kaczynski's is intriguing, but seeing Tremblay in a more serious role is what has my attention. Unabomber premieres on September 25.
