Talamasca: The Secret Order The 2025 spy thriller/supernatural fantasy series Talamasca: The Secret Order was just added to Netflix on Sunday, August 23, and is one of the easiest new shows to binge in just one night this week. Set in Anne Rice's Immortal Universe along with AMC's Interview with the Vampire franchise, the series follows Guy Anatole (Nicholas Denton), a psychic law student who gets recruited by a secret society that tracks supernatural beings. SEAL Team SEAL Team is another non-Netflix series that was recently added to the world's largest streaming platform and has found instant success, currently ranking #9 globally. The Paramount+ original series spanned 114 episodes across seven seasons from 2017 to 2024 and was one of the streamer's most dependable military thrillers during that time. SEAL Team earned a strong 84% Rotten Tomatoes audience score and features strong performances by David Boreanaz, Neil Brown Jr., Jessica Paré, and more. Blood Sacrifice Released just last week, the 5-part original thriller series Blood Sacrifice has skyrocketed to the top of Netflix's worldwide charts, surpassing previous #1 hits like I Will Find You. The Swedish series is set in Stockholm, where a detective named Thomas Berg (Jakob Oftebro) investigates a serial killer who seemingly only targets police officers. Thomas must work together with his estranged father and former cop, Alfred (Peter Andersson), to discover who is behind the killings.
