48,442 OMR sheets replaced in Group-I exam, alleges SAAP chairman

Ravi Naidu has accused the Opposition YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) of using the DSC-2025 recruitment as a bogey to deflect public attention from the APPSC scam allegedly resorted to by the previous government.Addressing a media conference here on Thursday (August 13, 2026), he said the Group-I scam during the YSRCP government was the biggest in the history of the APPSC.“The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the case is expected to table its report soon and this is why the YSRCP leaders are hurriedly hurling charges on the DSC-2025, in a bid to deflect public attention from their scam,” he said.Citing the SIT probe, he explained that the answer sheets of the Group-I examinations were digitally tampered with to award higher marks to ineligible candidates.“The then APPSC Chairman was sidelined, CCTV cameras were removed, private security engaged in place of government staff and 48,442 OMR sheets replaced,” he alleged.
