The Andhra Pradesh School Education Department on Sunday (September 13) released the results of the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET)–June 2026. The examinations were conducted in the computer-based test (CBT) mode from August 5 to 16.In a statement, AP TET-2026 convener M. Venkata Krishna Reddy said that of the 1,97,703 candidates who had appeared for the examinations, 90,862 qualified in 99,591 papers, recording an overall pass percentage of 45.63 among the papers attempted.Among the in-service teachers, 74,711 had applied for 84,798 papers, while 72,288 appeared for 81,127 papers. Of them, 37,789 teachers qualified in 41,315 papers, resulting in a pass percentage of 50.93 among the papers attempted.In comparison, 31,886 in-service teachers had appeared for the AP TET–October 2025 examinations, of whom 15,239, or 47.82%, had qualified.Mr. Venkata Krishna Reddy said that as many as 2,14,486 candidates had registered for 2,38,252 papers in the AP TET-2026, while 1,97,703 candidates appeared for 2,18,254 papers.Following the examinations, the preliminary answer key was released and objections raised by the candidates were examined by an expert committee. Necessary changes were incorporated based on the objections before the final results were declared on the basis of the final answer key.Mr. Venkata Krishna Reddy said candidates could check their AP TET–June 2026 results by logging into their accounts on the official AP TET websites — tet2dsc.apcfss.in and cse.ap.gov.in. “The results can also be accessed through WhatsApp by sending the required details to 9552300009,” he said.Lokesh’s pat for in-service teachersMeanwhile, HRD Minister Nara Lokesh congratulated the successful candidates, particularly the in-service teachers, noting that they recorded a pass percentage of around 51 against 47 among regular aspirants.In a social media post, he said the performance of in-service teachers reflected their academic commitment and dedication, which would contribute to strengthening education in the State.
