44 Continental Army remains being transported to Lake George memorial

The remains of 44 people linked to the Continental Army will be carried from Albany to Lake George for burial in a new memorial. Officials said the remains will leave the New York State Museum on Wednesday, May 20, at about 10 a.m. and travel 60 miles north on Route 9 to Lake George Battlefield Park.
