4 Dead, 15 Wounded as Russia Strikes Dnipropetrovsk Region

Russian forces killed four people, including a child, and wounded 15 others in the Dnipropetrovsk region on Monday, Aug. 3, while carrying out more than 60 strikes with drones, artillery and bombs across four districts of the region. Kryvyi Rih district suffers heaviest toll The Kryvyi Rih district recorded the highest death toll of the day, with three fatalities, including a child, and 11 people wounded. Russian forces struck and damaged a gas station, vehicles, a private home, farm buildings and a fire station, according to Hanzha. On Thursday, July 30, a Russian missile strike on the village of Radushne in Kryvyi Rih killed an entire family of 10 people, including two parents, seven children, and an 18-month-old grandson. Nikopol district hit repeatedly Nikopol remains one of the hardest hit areas since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022, with the area seeing near-daily bombardment. In the Nikopol district, Russian forces struck the communities of Nikopol, Pokrovska, Marhanetska, Chervonohryhorivska and Myrivska, damaging an administrative building, alongside local infrastructure, a store and several trucks. Four people were injured in the district, including a 33-year-old woman, who was hospitalized in moderate condition. Civilian structure damaged near Synelnykove Ukrainska, Petropavlivska, Vasylkivska and Mykolaivska communities were also under attack, with the strikes damaging more than two dozen private homes, several vehicles, a farm, a gas station and a combine harvester. Warehouses, wheat field burns in Dnipro district In the Dnipro district, Russian forces struck the city of Dnipro and the Slobozhanske community, setting a warehouse ablaze, alongside a wheat field. According to a separate update from Hanzha, explosions heard by residents of Dnipro were the result of Ukrainian air defense operations intercepting incoming threats.
