361 children join programmes of Oman Association for Children with Disabilities

Muscat: Oman Association for Children with Disabilities today welcomed 361 children as the 2026/2027 rehabilitation year commenced, marking the start of a new cycle of rehabilitation, education, and empowerment programmes.The children's return encompassed the Association's eight rehabilitation centres located in Al Athaiba, A’Seeb, Barka, Al Musannah, Saham, Yanqul, Dhank and Ja'alan Bani Bu Hassan. At these centres, the Association provides specialised rehabilitation and educational services and programmes aimed at developing the children's abilities and skills, while enhancing their independence and self-confidence. A number of the Association's centres accommodate students at the pre-vocational stage, contributing to their preparation and skill development in accordance with their capabilities, and equipping them for more advanced phases of independence and social integration.With the launch of the new rehabilitation year, the Association renews its commitment to continuing its efforts in empowering children with disabilities and supporting their families, while providing broader opportunities for a brighter future and greater integration into society.
