(Stock image) MANILA, Philippines—Police arrested three suspects in connection with the killing of a woman whose body was found stuffed inside a blue suitcase and dumped in a creek in Taguig City. In a statement on Saturday, the Taguig City Police Station said they identified the woman whose body was found in Barangay Tanyag. Authorities said information provided by concerned citizens also led investigators to the crime scene. The woman’s body was discovered at around 12:30 p.m. on July 24, 2026 in a creek in Purok 5, Barangay Tanyag, Taguig City. She was found inside a blue suitcase wrapped in a black garbage bag. The woman bore distinctive tattoos, including a black band with geometric and tribal-inspired patterns on her lower right leg. The body was brought to Loreto Funeral Homes for an autopsy and further examination to determine the victim’s cause of death.
