3 nabbed over death of woman found inside suitcase in Taguig creek

(Stock image) MANILA, Philippines—Police arrested three suspects in connection with the killing of a woman whose body was found stuffed inside a blue suitcase and dumped in a creek in Taguig City. In a statement on Saturday, the Taguig City Police Station said they identified the woman whose body was found in Barangay Tanyag. Authorities said information provided by concerned citizens also led investigators to the crime scene. Article continues after this advertisement Police also seized suspected drug paraphernalia from the suspects during their arrest. “A thorough investigation is ongoing to strengthen the evidence for the filing of appropriate charges against those responsible,” said the Taguig City Police Station in Filipino. The woman’s body was discovered at around 12:30 p.m. on July 24, 2026 in a creek in Purok 5, Barangay Tanyag, Taguig City. She was found inside a blue suitcase wrapped in a black garbage bag. The woman bore distinctive tattoos, including a black band with geometric and tribal-inspired patterns on her lower right leg. Article continues after this advertisement A Philippine sun-inspired tattoo was also seen on her left forearm, featuring a yellow sun with red and blue rays, four black stars, and an illegible black cursive inscription. The body was brought to Loreto Funeral Homes for an autopsy and further examination to determine the victim’s cause of death.
