The top 3 Prime Video series worth binge-watching this weekend, October 9–11, 2026, include a popular action thriller and two modern horror hits. With Halloween season officially in full gear, Prime Video has plenty of great horror streaming options for viewers to enjoy at home, as well as great coming-of-age shows like Sterling Point and action thrillers like Reacher for those not interested in spooky season. Other great new shows to binge-watch on Prime Video are the 7-part fantasy The Pendragon Cycle and the mystery series Blue Ridge. The following three series are all ready to binge from start to finish on Prime Video this weekend, meaning that audiences won't have to wait for any additional episodes for the complete viewing experience. What's more, each of these series is critically acclaimed, as all of them have a Rotten Tomatoes score of 85% or higher, with the highest of them being a near-perfect 95%. No matter how much time you have for streaming this weekend, these three Prime Video series represent the very best of the best new shows on the platform now. Chucky The celebrated horror series Chucky was just added to Prime Video earlier this week and is one of the best shows to binge-watch on the streamer this spooky season. Chucky is one of the most critically acclaimed modern horror series, earning a 95% Rotten Tomatoes score, which includes a perfect 100% for its most recent third season. Featuring the titular killer doll that was first introduced in the 1988 cult classic Child's Play, the Chucky series serves as a sequel to the seventh movie in the franchise, Cult of Chucky. The series combines several subgenres of classic horror, including slasher and supernatural, along with dark comedy and coming-of-age tropes. The series was created by Don Mancini, who wrote the original Child's Play screenplay as well as multiple Chucky movie sequels such as Seed of Chucky and Bride of Chucky. With 24 episodes, each of them ranging between 42 and 54 minutes, Chucky is ideal for those looking for a long-term horror binge to watch throughout October. Neagley As the first-ever Reacher spinoff series, Neagley was a big risk for Prime Video that paid off handsomely based on its massive streaming success and 94% Rotten Tomatoes score. Starring Maria Sten, who was first introduced as a supporting character in Reacher season 2, Neagley follows its titular protagonist, Frances Neagley, who investigates the mysterious death of her childhood friend in her home city of Chicago. Neagley teams up with an ambitious local cop named Hudson (Greyston Holt) to uncover a conspiracy and solve the case. If you enjoy all four seasons of Reacher, there's a very good chance you will also like Neagley, even though Alan Ritchson is only featured in two of its eight episodes. While Reacher uses his brawn as much as his brains, Neagley leans more heavily into an investigative story approach, all while still fighting the bad guys in fast-paced action scenes, of course. Featuring a wide ensemble and a rich crime-fueled plot with a complex character web, Neagley is absolutely worth the hype and perhaps even a re-watch this weekend. Carrie Carrie is undoubtedly the best new series on Prime Video to binge-watch this weekend. Developed by Mike Flanagan, who audiences may know from his hit Netflix series such as The Haunting of Hill House and Midnight Mass, Carrie is based on Stephen King's very first horror novel and is the first series adaptation of the text ever made. Carrie earned a strong 84% Rotten Tomatoes score and had already become the most-watched Prime Video show in the world following its premiere on Wednesday, October 7. Carrie centers on its titular protagonist, Carrie White (Summer H. Howell), who is raised by her fearful, devoutly religious mother, Margaret (Samantha Sloyan), in a small Maine town. Having been homeschooled her entire life, Carrie has trouble fitting into her local high school, as many of the students consider her an outcast for reading books and making her own clothes. As Carrie tries to adjust to high school life, she encounters severe bullying, both in person and online, which ignites a school-wide controversy that eventually leads to a very destructive prom night. With its great performances, immersive story, and awesome soundtrack, Carrie is a must-watch on Prime Video this weekend.
