28 Asians held off Al Seeb coast while attempting illegal entry into Oman

Muscat: The Police Coast Guard Command has arrested 28 individuals of Asian nationalities who were attempting to enter the Sultanate of Oman illegally by sea. According to the Royal Oman Police (ROP), the group was intercepted aboard a boat near the coast of the Wilayat of Al Seeb during an operation carried out by the Coast Guard.The ROP said the suspects were detained while attempting to enter the country unlawfully, and legal procedures are currently being completed against them.The Royal Oman Police regularly conducts maritime patrols along Oman's coastline to prevent illegal entry, human smuggling, and other maritime security violations, urging the public to cooperate with authorities by reporting any suspicious activities.
