He is also an experienced baseball writer with over six years of articles between multiple outlets, most notably FanSided's CubbiesCrib. Whether it's taking in a baseball game, a new season of Futurama or Castlevania: Nocturne, or playing the latest From Software title, he is always finding ways to show his fandom. When it comes to gaming and anything that takes inspiration from it, he is deeply opinionated on what's going on. Outside of entertainment, he's a graduate of Eureka College with a Bachelor's in Communication where he honed his craft as a writer. Between The IV Leader at Illinois Valley Community College and The Pegasus at Eureka, he spent the majority of his college career publishing articles on everything from politics to campus happenings and, of course, entertainment for the student body. Those principles he learned covering the 2020 election, Palestine, and so much more are brought here to Collider, where he has gleefully written on everything from the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes to Nathan Lane baby-birding sewer boys. The original R-rated comedy, based on the core concept of the 1980s police procedural starring Johnny Depp and Peter DeLuise, was widely beloved upon its release in 2012 for its self-aware brand of humor, quickly scoring a sequel in 2014 that made even more noise at the box office with a $331.3 million haul. Despite interest from the team, including stars Channing Tatum, Jonah Hill, and Ice Cube, in a 23 Jump Street and perhaps more of the zany ideas thrown out at the end of their last adventure, the closest the studio ever came to getting the duo of officers back undercover was perhaps the wild Men in Black crossover that was ultimately confirmed dead in 2019. This year, however, that's finally changing. Sony has officially set the date for the Jump Street gang's next operation after over a decade of trying to develop a sequel. 24 Jump Street is now opening on December 10, 2027, a bold release that'll put the comedy right before the towering blockbuster duo of Avengers: Secret Wars and The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum on December 17. The whole team is also back on the beat, as Tatum, Hill, and Cube have all officially signed on to reprise their roles. They were announced to be in talks over the summer, alongside original directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller, who are now producing. Release Date March 16, 2012 Runtime 109 minutes Director Christopher Miller, Phil Lord Writers Michael Bacall Producers Neal H. Moritz, Stephen J.
