Evans, 21, and Quentene E. Williams, 33, were both shot and killed.Evans goes by the stage name of Lil Sheisty, and Williams goes by the name of Funny $Money, according to Billboard.comThe outlet reported that a 28-year-old has been arrested in connection with the shooting, but no motive has been reported. Billboard added that the Milwaukee Police Department said that a “33-year-old man and an unidentified victim sustained fatal gunshot wounds and were pronounced deceased at the scene.”Fox 6 reported that police were called to the studio around 3:40 p.m. on Monday.The circumstances that led to the shooting are still under investigation. The outlet spoke with Evans’ twin sister, Jaquaisa Evans. “I’ve been listening to his songs ever since (the shooting),” she said. “I got to hear his voice. “He was a rapper and he was very family oriented,” she added. “He’s got three kids that he loved dearly.”The article described Williams as Evans’ mentor and friend. “We need to change our focus,” Evans’ cousin, Trinika Walker, told Fox 6. “We need to change our mindset if we want to live.”Billboard.com called Williams “a key member of the Milwaukee hip-hop scene”, and said he released the video to his most recent single, “Goldie/I Ain’t Lying”, on Friday, Aug. 14.
